Shala Om Yoga provides a supportive, friendly and community-focussed approach to learning and practising yoga. Our classes are all suitable for complete beginners and more experienced yogis. We have 2 styles, Hatha yoga and Yin yoga. Classes are different every week so you don't get bored.

Each class typically begins with meditation, moves through an original Hatha or Yin Yoga sequence of asanas/poses and ends with a 10-15 minute soundbath with Singing Bowls, Tone Drum and chanting.

After a class you will feel stretched, relaxed and spiritually nourished. On top of that we share a welcoming, supportive community atmosphere. We are not yoga snobs! We take the practice seriously but not ourselves.

Our Port Adelaide studio hosts the popular Kick Start Yoga Course. This is a small group programme presented twice a week over four weeks. The is a morning or evening option. Kick Start Yoga is designed as either an introduction to yoga or as a refresher if you have not practised for a while.

We also present a low cost, community lunchtime class at Kilburn Community Centre on Thursdays.

The principal teacher is Unjay, a Yoga Alliance registered teacher (RYT 200).
