I'd tried several methods to relieve chronic localised tension (massage etc) without success. I met Jane and while I was skeptical I organised to have a session with her. First asked me to describe my goals from the session. About 10 minutes into the session I was amazed to feel the tension suddenly releasing. It continued to release throughout most of the rest of the session. Now that chronic tension has evaporated and I feel completely back to normal.

A severe road trauma to C3/4 neck vertebrae remained undiagnosed resulting in tendons and muscles shrinking and dystrophy causing the spine to misalign, in turn causing compression of the spinal cord with the result of severe neuro pain, requiring restricted medication. (Only prescribed 30 days at a time). Corrective surgery was completed in 2005, the neuro surgeon advised anticipated total recovery of the frozen neck, torso and limited leg movement would be 10 years with daily stretching and physio exercise. To my surprise, during the first treatment I experienced a feeling of severe heat generated in the chest region, the next day my pain level was minimal, I was able to walk without the aid of a cane and I could feel flexibility recovery of the frozen body torso & neck from deep within the torso. I visited my GP and he was truly surprised that I could bend over and touch my toes. One week later, I was in severe neuro hip/pelvic pain and requested another Healing Touch therapy from Jane, this time not only was there a feeling of severe heat being generated from the chest, the left torso side went almost unbearably freezing cold, the result being, I now only experience physical pain of dystrophy muscles and shrunken tendons, moving with ever increasing mobility of the head, neck, shoulders & torso enabling me to walk with minimal physical pain and without the walking cane. My Doctor, (Dr Jack Chang) from the Ashton avenue Medical Clinic in Claremont was so impressed with my accelerated progress as a result of the two treatments, that he has requested Jane Meiklem’s details to pass on to other patients. These 2 Healing Touch therapy treatments from Jane have significantly accelerated my pain relief, mobility and flexibility to such a degree, that every day is a significant improvement and my full recovery is eminent that I expect to be back to dance lessons by the end of June. My condition has responded so quickly and immediately improved my quality of life with an accelerated eminent full recovery, I recommend with full confidence to any person requiring relief from any medical condition to seek comfort from Jane’s expertise in Healing Touch therapy administered with her healing hands. I went along to a healing touch session by a recommendation from a friend. I didn't really know what to expect but I did know I was suffering from a high level of anxiety due to family pressures as well as my father being terminally ill. I had so much going on in my mind, it was just a whole lot of noise that I wasn't able to process. I went along to the session and Christine made me feel so comfortable. She listened to my situation and based on what I had told her she got to work on me. During the session I felt comfortable and at ease and I left the session feeling energised and somewhat mentally cleansed but what changed for me the most was that I felt a deeper connection with my "self". I hadn't realised how disconnected I had become. I continue to go along to sessions when I need to recalibrate my mind with my body and it works every time.
