Stretch your Body and Mind. Small friendly classes suitable for everyone, focusing upon Spinal tone, Breath Awareness & Relaxation.
Yoga goes beyond physical exercises in that it will encourage quiet reflection, proper breathing and better posture.Every exercise is practiced slowly and easily, to prevent the effects of exhaustion which is the enemy of good health. Therefore within our physical bodies we develop a balance of strength and flexibility. We learn to balance effort and surrender, which is the cornerstone of yoga.
Postures are chosen based on individual needs and the group as a whole so each class will vary. Instructions are given for gentle, moderate or more vigorous options; You choose what your body needs. You will learn many kinds of yoga postures, breathing techniques, Meditation and ways of relaxation.
Yoga mats, blankets and any props are provided but feel free to bring yours if you prefer.

    Yoga at Fennell Bay.
    The yoga classes are delivered expertly by Catherine who instructs keeping the poses appropriate to the class participants. I have really enjoyed the challenge and camaraderie of the yoga group.Highly recommended.
